There’s something about the mundane-mediocre, the ins and outs of everyday life that makes O’Hara’s writings different. From coke drinking to cheeseburger eating, to swaying between each other in the warm, New York, 4 o’clock light- it continues to encapsulate me.
In spring 2022, I transformed this forgotten project, collecting, absorbing, and designing a visual storytelling experience to express the life, travels, and lovers of Frank O’Hara. Frank reads his writings here.

What I love, and I mean truly love about Frank O’Hara is the way he expresses the comfort that one finds in eating a meal, having a Coke,
or Instant coffee. Sharing a meal, let alone a bite of food-
or a sip of heavily processed liquid- compounds that feeling.
He helps us find forgiveness of oneself, a clarity of self-purpose in the normality of an Avocado salad, and other small, private experiences.
